If you don’t have the pleasure of knowing Heidi and Jake, they are two of the most down-to-earth, genuinely happy people I have ever met. They are so sincere in everything they do, and it’s impossible not to have a good time around them. As her sister said during the toast:

“Heidi & Jake have supermodel good looks, but their hearts are even more beautiful.”

So absolutely true! Celebrating with them and capturing their wedding day story was not only and honor but so much fun! When you see these photos, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Surrounded by Love

Heidi and Jake love their people well. They think about others – and really care about them – in all they do. Their wedding party was full of siblings and best friends, and I love that their families are already so close. The Father of the Bride even gave Jake a Niners tee during his toast, which Jake changed into it halfway through the reception.

Surprisingly for Texas, their wedding day ended up on the chilly side, but that made all of the outdoor photos sharp, crisp, and full of energy (at least until Heidi couldn’t handle the goosebumps anymore in her gorgeous dress). They were both troopers, though, and we got some great photos! You’d never know they felt like icicles.

A First Look with Dad

Heidi opted to do a First Look with her father. Even the most stoic person couldn’t have kept dry eyes through that one. It was so special, and oh, so beautiful. They have an incredible father-daughter bond.

When it was finally time to say, “I do,” Jake cried as Heidi walked down the aisle. She looked absolutely radiant. They exchanged heartfelt vows and then headed off to celebrate with everyone!

The Venue

Villa Antonia is one of the most aesthetically beautiful venues around Austin as far as architecture goes. The sprawling estate looks like a traditional Spanish mansion with white adobe and red terracotta tiles. I always love exploring the winding staircases, towers, terraces and courtyards that overlook miles of Texas hill country. You could probably spend hours just venturing around the property. The unique architecture lends itself to some really romantic and intimate shots (as you can see of Heidi and Jake in the staircase and up on the rooftop).
