Lately I’ve been feeling the urge to completely empty out my house and start all over…from scratch…repaint, rearrange…the works. I’m talking myself out of it because 1) I’m saving for Europe (and let’s face it…redecorating is expensive!) and 2) there’s only so much I can do in my current house…which is not totally “me” but it’s my first house, and I didn’t really know what “my” house would be 4 years ago.
So to scratch that redecorating itch, I did what I do every time I’m in the mood to play with home decor….head to Anthropologie. (Really it’s what I do when I’m in absolutely any mood at all, but let’s keep that our secret….well, ours and Mr. Visa’s). I like to buy things I fall in love with & when i walked in, it was love at first sight.
Ta-da! I LOVE my new comforter! It’s crazy and bright and super soft and it just makes me happy.
I know it’s a winner since Wilson loves it too. (Could you resist that face!? I cannot.)

When in the mood, you can take all of your home accesories and put them on your kitchen table. Next, put everything away but in a new space. It’s a fun and free way to make the house feel fresh!
