Sarah married her solid ground and forever dance partner, and John married his heart and best friend at Canyonwood Ridge in Austin, Texas. Not only were they blessed with a perfect sunset over the Texas hill country to enjoy as husband and wife, but they were also completely surrounded by people who were so excited for their future. They laughed, cried, hugged, and danced the night away.

Needless to say, there was never a dull moment during their wedding day, and I love how their collection of wedding photos tells a full story. And this story has it all: the buildup to the big moment, the romance, and the celebration – complete with some hilarious dance moves by both young and old. I just adore them. Canyonwood Ridge is one of my favorite blank-canvas venues. Couples can decorate and style the rustic chic space however they like, but the crown jewel of it all is the prime spot atop a cliff overlooking miles of hills and valleys that roll across the backdrop. If you’re wanting a true Texas hill country wedding, this is the spot.  The outdoor ceremony location has panoramic views as well as huge, sprawling oaks that provide shade and greenery.   For this wedding, PEJ provided the delicious bites, and Wild Acre Brewing Company provided refreshing local beer to go along with it. And we can’t forget Val’s Sweet Treats who created an equally delectable and beautiful wedding cake!  Sarah and John’s wedding was absolutely magical, thanks to all of the vendors who helped make it possible.
