Sometimes love sneaks up on you – Lindsay and Derek worked together on the lake in the summers, and one summer…something was different. A friend noticed and set the up on a date…on the lake, of course…and they knew…

Through years of long distance, they knew.
And when Derek proposed on the side of the road, because he just couldn’t go another minute without asking Lindsay to be his wife…she knew.

Their wedding at Prospect House in Dripping Springs, outside of Austin, Texas was a beautiful reflection of everything they love, modern design (he designs custom arbors and she designs outdoor furniture), focus on friends and family and a love of the outdoors. Prospect House has a beautiful open-air breeze thru with an incredible installation wall and a modern, sculptural outdoor ceremony space!

Lindsay and Derek’s wedding day started drizzly and overcast, but as Lindsay was putting her dress on, the clouds cleared and the sun brought along warm breezes that made her veil dance and a sunset that absolutely required dancing.

Something special happened that day – and everyone knew.
