Kristina and Jed were married this June at The Terrace Club in a ceremony that was intimate and sweet and happy and fun and completely reflected their love for each other, for their friends and family, and for Disney…which has seen some of the highlights of their love story!
Jed proposed to Kristina at Christmas in front of Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World and spent a special evening there receiving well-wishes from the crowds and even a special blessing from the Fairy Godmother during the parade!
These two band teachers actually met at Band Camp – yes, Band Camp (wink) but as teachers, not campers…and it took a little while, and a little Italian food, but Kristina and Jed became inseparable and 7 years later, the two pledged to spend their forevers together and their vacations at Disney World.
Their day started at a nearby hotel where the two spent some quiet time with their families getting ready for the big day. I love that they spent their wedding morning together – nerves stayed calm and excitement was high!
Then we headed over to The Terrace Club for final touches, getting dressed and some fun portrait time. Their ceremony was blessed with a beautiful sunset and all the happy tears. It’s always so special when the couple turns to take a moment and see all the lovely faces there to celebrate their love…just to be present in that moment is such a gift. Before the first dances and the toasts and the festivities – Kristina and Jed spent their first sunset as husband and wife in utter contentment. Their first dance was to a French version of “Someday My Prince Will Come” – so perfect.
