Kate and Matt met playing kickball – both had just moved to Austin and wanted to meet new people so they joined a co-ed kickball league and became friends…and even though that’s when they met, their story lines up long before.
Matt lived just around the corner from Kate for years in San Antonio, and they moved to Austin within a week of each other…they just weren’t ready to meet until kickball entered the equation!
Kate was looking for a running buddy – she loved to run in the evenings and Matt made her feel safe…and he could keep up…and between running and kickball and coffee and tennis…buddies became best friends and best friendship turned into forever.
We spent a little time enjoying coffee and cupcakes at their favorite local bakery and wandering umbrella lined sidewalks and telling stories as the sun set. Here’s a little peek at our adventure!
