Edinburgh was the highlight of the 3 cities in which we actually stayed. The people were so friendly, we became “regulars” in 3 short days at certain places & where else would you see a Top Shop (greatest store ever) right next to a castle…genius!

This was our tour guide around Edinburgh castle…I adore this woman. We all had trouble keeping up with her (and she is in her 80s) and she almost came to blows with a traffic cop – the lady had sass.

So, by now you may recognize this scarf – it was by far the most useful thing I brought on the trip. It was my airplane blanket, my pillow at one point & the warmest most lightweight scarf I’ve ever used (it’s a jersey t-shirty material). You can check it out here.
