Allyson and Phillip were married last at Mercury Hall in June on a warm Texas day, but Allyson’s smile was so much brighter than the sun that day.
I met the pair when we spent a little time wandering around Austin chasing light and telling stories during their sweet dancy engagement session on the Barton Creek Greenbelt and I’ve been looking forward to this day ever since then…
The day started at the family home where Allyson and her friends and family spent time telling stories and sipping mimosas during hair and make up breaks. Allyson’s wedding attire included special lace from her grandmother – she watched over the girls getting ready. Once hair and makeup were complete – we made our way to Mercury Hall where the guys were getting dapper and staying cool! Then it was time for Allyson’s mom and sister to help the bride into her dress and reveal the gorgeous bride to her bridesmaids. Father/Daughter first looks get me every time… We were able to sneak away for a few minutes to enjoy the sunset and their first quiet moments as husband and wife before the party started!
