They met on the second day of their Junior year of high school, on the school bus of course, and this April, Jaci and Jordan were married at TerrAdorna in Dripping Springs, just outside of Austin, Texas on a perfect – if blustery – spring day and had their friends and family shuttled to the wedding on beloved school busses as a reminder of their beginnings!

On that day, nearly nine years ago, Jaci leaned over and told her best friend that the new boy on the bus was cute, but she couldn’t get up the courage to go talk to him…so, like any good best friend, she headed over and conversations were started and friendships were formed on that bus that will last a lifetime.

Two years later, on a trip across the world with some of their closest friends, Jordan proposed to a completely surprised Jaci in Phuket after carrying the ring through 5 countries and 10 times that many adventures.

This is their wedding day story full of color and laughter and so much happy… This special heart embroidery was taken from her mother’s wedding dress.

After the girls were dressed, we headed out in to the winds to grab a few photos – and Jaci was pure perfection.

Jaci’s gift to Jordan were these special cuff links engraved with their wedding date and their favorite saying “Anywhere with you”.

The couple opted to not see each other before their walk down the aisle, but they spent a few quiet moments connecting and reading special notes written for their wedding day.

Then it was time for a final few moments of preparation before the ceremony… This is my favorite time with a couple of their wedding day – time for them to connect as man and wife for the first time. To talk about their experiences that day and in those moments of pure joy…I just try to capture their honesty and excitement! The sun didn’t show itself until the very end of the day, so we headed back out for a few quiet moments at sunset before the partying commenced. I adore when the couple decides to have the last dance all to themselves before heading out under sparklers and cheers.
