Or why women (and maybe some men?) love watching the Hallmark Channel filled with romantic, light-hearted love stories on repeat all holiday season long? We all know the story line. Most are completely predictable with the same sequence of events. 

But the storyline is not what intrigues us the most – it’s the people. We can’t help but get drawn in through the character development, their personalities, and the life they bring to the story. The endearing couples, comical families, and beloved characters keep us tuned in for hours!

For me – and probably you, too – weddings are the same way. We know how it will go with the ceremony, first kiss, group photos, reception, cake, and sendoff. But unless you’re just a wedding crasher, the cake is probably not the reason you’re there.

You’re there because you can’t wait to celebrate with your friends. You’re there because you would never miss this huge moment – an opportunity to support the couple you love in their next grand adventure together. 

Just like you, I’m there for the people and the experience, but from a photography standpoint. I love getting to know the couples and their families and friends so that I can document their unique love story that comes alive through the laughter, conversation, and good times during their wedding day.

On a beautiful Sunday morning, Victoria & Bryan exchanged promises and vows under a gorgeous Texas summer sky. Their friends and family, the ones who have cheered them on from friendship to love, watched. The gorgeous design details and stunning lakeside backdrop provided the perfect romantic ambiance for capturing all the love and laughter that radiated on their wedding day.
