The day Lenel & Paul were supposed to meet didn’t quite go according to plan…but turned out to be the perfect start. Lenel’s friend took her to the TX/OU gameday where they were going to meet up with this guy she thought Lenel would like, but like any big event – the cell service was non-existent so they couldn’t connect to find each other…but in that sea of fans, these two people just happened to run into each other for the beginning of something special! A week later, Lenel flew to Houston for their first official date and Paul tried to follow it up by driving to her, but this just happened to be in the middle of a flood…so over 12 hours later, Paul was back home where he started.

All of these crazy stories and run ins and grand gestures are their epic love story, it’s messy and perfect and their wedding day was more of the same!

It was a perfectly clear day in Austin at beautiful Chateau Bellevue when suddenly the sky opened and started to drop big, fat, unforecasted drops on Lenel and Paul’s wedding day…but just as Lenel stepped through the door to walk down the aisle to her best friend, the sun came out and even an unexpected rainstorm could make this day less perfect!
