If you’re from Texas, you’re probably familiar with the stunning beauty of Lake Travis. The large lake – a reservoir on the Colorado River – sits between rolling hills with wide open skies as far as you can see. It’s truly mesmerizing, especially when you find a unique place high on a hill to take it all in. There’s no more romantic spot to tie the knot.

About this sweet couple and their big day

Kathryn & Trevor celebrated their wedding full of color and laughter at Austin’s unique hill country Vintage Villas this spring. Their style and décor were filled with many classics and a few fun modern twists added in. After a first look with a breathtaking view for a backdrop, they were ready to exchange their heartwarming vows under an elegant wedding arch with climbing vines. The bright, summery flowers they chose for the bouquets and head wreaths really popped against all of the greenery, navy dresses, and grey suits – beautifully complementary! The flower girls wore adorable pink tutus, while the little ring bearer donned a pair of handsome suspenders.

After their joyful “I do’s!” and sweet first kiss, they all went to celebrate inside the villas’ rustic chic banquet hall. Kathryn and Trevor spent the evening with the people closest to them dancing and telling stories and crying happy tears. 

And check out the dance-floor serenade by a professional Elvis impersonator and their glow-in-the dark straws for their signature cocktails! They loved every minute of this one-of-kind celebration. At the end, their loved ones sent them off in style with line of sparklers, and they drove out in an adorably-decorated golf cart! Super cute!
