I know to some, bridal portraits seem unnecessary at best…at worst, even old fashioned…but if you’re already considering scheduling one, there are some benefits that might even make your big day a bit easier!

Brooke and I spent a beautiful afternoon at her wedding venue chasing light…a perfect opportunity to get a feel for the venue and discover places that would be go-to backdrops on her wedding day.

Of course, she was stunning everywhere.

A huge thanks to Camp Lucy for their impeccable venue – they’ve thought of absolutely everything and are so easy to work with.

Brooke and I took our time exploring and finding the perfect angles for her gorgeous dress and playing with her veil, not to mention it was a fun test run for hair and makeup. (We even named a few poses for quick reference during the whirlwind of wedding day photos!)
