This wedding had it all! Beautiful vintage backdrops, fun urban venue, classic elegant décor, symbolic family traditions – it was truly a perfect blend.

Anita and Will spent this beautiful late-summer day tying the knot and celebrating their marriage at The Union on Eighth. This unique industrial-designed venue sits right off of Town Square in downtown Georgetown, Texas. The historic building was originally designed as a blacksmith shop, but now the spacious, thoughtful designed space is perfect for modern weddings. 

Anita and Will exchanged personal letters before the ceremony, but opted to not see each other until the big moment – and what a moment it was when Will saw his radiant bride for the first time down the aisle. Anita couldn’t have looked lovelier, and her almost-husband was clearly enthralled. They held hands and exchanged vows in the shaded courtyard as their friends and family cheered them on after their very romantic first kiss. 

I love the traditional elements they incorporated into their day like the private tea ceremony and Chinese lions. Their day has so many personal touches and special details.

After taking some stunning couple’s portraits around the venue – plus their first sunset walk as newlyweds – they headed inside to a room filled with laughter and celebration. They danced the night away under twinkling lights, only to be interrupted by the sweetest toasts and amazing dessert. 

I can’t forget to mention their romantic courtyard dance. The lighting was soft and perfect. It felt like a fairytale as they twirled around the lawn, just the two of them. When it was time to send these newlyweds off on their next big adventure, their friends and family gathered around and lined the path with sparklers. I’m sure you could hear the cheers a mile away as they sent the couple off…here’s just a bit of their wedding story!
