I don’t even know where to start with this wedding! Lesley and Joe’s elegant, fun, festive, classic wedding was perfect…and perfectly them. I started with the ladies early in the day and we danced and sang our way through hair and makeup before heading to a gorgeous church for their ceremony and finished up the day at Creekside for their gorgeous reception where the most beautiful sunset met us and saw the beginning of one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever witnessed! Lesley’s style is undeniably chic and Joe loves her perfectly…they are completely themselves and completely smitten with each other. I think you’ll love them as much as I do!
Kelsey and Cole’s wedding day did not go completely according to plan…and it was the greatest thing that could’ve happened. All morning the light rain would come and go, never lingering, but as soon as they were putting the finishing touches on dresses and jackets and hats and boots, the sky opened up and began POURING rain. Not just rain…torrential rain. But it just so happens that Kelsey and Cole were married in a barn on ACRES of gorgeous Texas open space and we all watched in awe as the storm rolled in – it was stunningly beautiful – and everyone took a deep breath, put on some music and enjoyed some much needed fun while we waited to see what would happen. As fate would have it, the storm rolled on through and left behind the most beautiful light and a relaxed wedding party who continued to embrace their day as it unfolded.
On a side note – their wedding venue – The Barn at 5S Ranch – is just opening (they were the very first wedding) and I can’t say enough amazing things about the venue itself, the surrounding grounds and the coordinators! Definitely check them out!!
Michele and Jeff are the kind of people you can’t help but fall in love with. From the very start, it was clear that they adore each other and have the best time together and we spent a little time exploring a bit of Austin, jumping off rocks and twirling like crazy. This engagement session was such a treat for me, and I can’t wait until their wedding!

I had such fun with all the families last year…so I thought I would share some of my favorites from Fall 2015. Enjoy!
Erika & Ben’s wedding day was a family affair – Erika’s mother designed and oversaw the creation of every single centerpiece for the reception, the bride and her sister did bridesmaids hair, family created the flower girl dresses and family friends contributed to every aspect of the day. I wish you could’ve seen behind the scenes – there were Disney sing-a-longs galore, a very unique Starbucks bride cup, a gift of socks to avoid cold feet – though there was no chance of them, laughter, tears and much dancing…but these photos will have to do!
